(Scratches, dings etc,)As others have stated it does have a lot of pieces that need to be put together however it really is fairly easy.Set aside 1 hour for assembly and make sure you keep the two packages of rods separate.They have a VERY SLIGHT difference in height and are hard to separate once out of the package.
Make sure you pay the lower price as others have stated the same unit is listed on Amazon for two different prices.I paid $40.27 total.
It is a good cheap alternative to store your entertainment accessories.The unit does spin.The bottom has a cheap platic ring with ball bearings.I have the unit on a very low carpet and it spins with no problem and extra clearance.Overall the quality is cheap with minor imperfections.(One rod did not screw in all the way.However unless I am standing right on top of it the imperfections are not noticable and DO NOT effect the structural integrity of the unit.
SUMMARY - The price matches the quality.I would buy this again.
