(More customer reviews)I had a run of 10 DVDs I had to burn for a customer who needed them by the next weekend; he is a vendor at at science-fiction convention.
I was using DVD+R blanks from two separate spindles, from two vendors at a computer show, purchased two separate times. Now granted, these were 50-disk spindles that I paid under $20 each for at the show, but still... I was getting 50% error rates! In other words, for every two disks, one turned out as a coaster or paint pallette! That's a tad over ridiculous.
I bought a spindle of these Sony's; yeah, I paid quite a bit more than $15-$20 for the spindle. So what? The price wound up being the same per usable product, and I get the Sony name and backing for the disk!
As the review title says,
SO MUCH FOR GENERICS!
I'll stick to brand-name, at least for mission-critical productions.
