(More customer reviews)Ok, so I bought this DVD player about a year ago, right? Well, I am finding out from my kids that the battery hasn't been working in months! I tried charging the battery overnight and sure enough, the player worked for maybe 10 min. and quit.
I googled "Nortech portable DVD player" in several different ways and all I found were tons of links to people with the same problem, searching for help. Nobody, including me, can find the company anywhere. I tried going to Dolby Laboratories b/c I saw their name on the back of the player, and there is nothing at all on their site about this dvd player.I e-mailed them about the problem and will update this review if I get anywhere with them.
So, in the meantime, like all the other people I read about when I googled "Nortech DVD player", I now have a portable DVD player with a defective battery. And no place to get it fixed or replaced.What a rip off.
I bought our player at Samsclub when the price was reduced from $189 to $139. Should have bought a more reputable brand.
