(More customer reviews)This is a nice little case for carrying a portable DVD player, netbook, or even a Kindle.
The large inner compartment has a divided section meant to hold a DVD player or other device with a screen "up to 9 inches" according to the product description. This section is the perfect size to hold my Kindle 2 in it's M-edge GO! cover, and even my Samsung NC10-14GBK 10.2-Inch Black Netbook - 6 Cell Battery. The front flap has a zip compartment that's nice for items you want to access quickly, and when the flap is lifted there are two velcro pockets which I use for storing earphones and USB flash drives.
When packing my netbook, there is just enough room for the netbook and power adapter in the main compartment, and a small portable hard drive and earphones in the outer pockets.
I use this bag daily for carrying my Kindle to work, and toss my wallet, cell phone, and keys in with it so I don't have to carry a purse as well. The shoulder strap is nice and long, and even though it does not have a shoulder pad it is not uncomfortable to carry.
